unless it was a ford lightning the rsx should have whoop'd a$$. trucks have torque and horsepower more in the low to mid range....u know, for haulin stuff. perhaps a downshift was in order.

Wasnt a lightning, and the rsx should have beat the f150 but didnt, and thats sad...but lower gears its awesome, has good handling, it is a nice car dont get me wrong but it didnt please me when the darn f150 flew by...

naw dude, it really depends on wat engine the f150. they got 4 different types :o . but if it was either of the 5.X liter f150s, it should have roasted the lil four banger. RSXs r quick but at high speeds, it comes down to raw power and displacement.

Not necessarily. It's more like proper gearing and best power to weight ratio. You could have the largest displacement engine in the world...but without the right gearing or proper weight distribution on a certain chassis...it won't be quick at all.
