Thank you Quick for realizing when someone is trying to get information instead of talking trash.
Dats, the reason I asked again is because it doesn't cost anyone anything to SAY, something works better because they know a guy, who knew a guy, that it worked for. I need facts before jumping on the bandwagon, especially since something like a knock sensor really doesn't scream out loud to a driver, "Hey I'm working." You can't always hear knock. The signal needs to be looked at and/or the timing checked. But if someone posts that they looked at the signal and got xxxMHz at xxx volts when they tapped the block with a hammer, I have a tendency to believe the guy didn't make it up.
I have a picture in my mind of someone posting that the GM knock sensor happened to have the same mount as the Toyota knock sensor and then a bunch of forum readers going out and installing them, saying, "Cool it works," when all it really does is fit.
Also, look at my number of posts. Why would I know who G is?
Now that I know this may be an issue, I will borrow an O-scope from my friend and measure the output of the knock sensor in my wifes car. That way, if I get a code after the supercharger is installed, I can buy a GM one and compare it. That would definitely satisfy me. Then I will post the results here.
