You have to heat it up (blow dryer) but be careful! The emblems get pretty hot! Then you can get soem floss to floss it off... don't worry some "tape" will remain on the car. You can just wash it off, or use "Goo-Gone" like the forum recommends. I've also read that you can use a credit card to take off the emblems... It makes sense, and it won't break as easily as the floss (if you floss hard)
1GR-FE ftw!

I did debadge the Toyota sign on the upper left corner and the car looked much better. Someone said that debadging the back completely will make the hips look too wide. But yeah, floss or fishing string works fine. I didnt' use a blow dryer to debadge it cause it was a hot day, the strings worked perfectly. I didn't use Goo-Gone either. I kept rubbing the glue and it peeled right off. Washed the car, BRAND SPANKING CLEAN. No marks.

Can you get some pics up of how it will look? I'm thinking about taking off the "TOYOTA" because it's just not balanced...

I've seen one guy move the "SOLARA" to the top right... but he installed it VERY lop sidededededly :o

Yeah I agree. The Toyota part just makes it weighted towards the left.

Yup, de-badged is my vote.

I use fishing line to take it off. Dentall Floss is too thin.
And clean the remaining glue using car polish.

Its always better shaven

At first I didn't like it without emblems, but now I love it. Took about a week to get used to. The best feeling is having ppl come up and ask, what kinda car do you have

I'd love to take mine off but I have a 99' thats black and am worried they'll be a marking there. In fact I'm sure there will be...any way I can blend the two shades of black together...maybe just buff the heck out of it with some wax?

Unless your car has suffered serious sun fade I wouldn't even worry about it. Just take them off, clean of the glue residue with goo gon and make throw a little wax on top of it.
