New tires - Goodyear Assurance Tripletread?
Hey, My Solara's due for some new tires, (bordering on overdue). I'm still running the OE Michelin MXV4 (or whatever they are) and based on how bald they are, they're okay in the dry, not so hot in the rain. I previously had Falken Ziex Z512's which were decent, but not spectacular.
I'm looking at a few things, keep in mind I'm keeping the factory size on factory wheels (16") so a 205/60R16. I also live in rainy Vancouver BC.
After some looking at a lot of reviews asside from a few complaints about lower treadlife than advertised, the Goodyear Assurance TripleTread seems to be looking pretty attractive.
Price on these is relatively high, but if all the reviews are accurate, I'm willing to pay up.
Anyone on here have any experience with these? (On a Solara or even another car). Is there another long-wearing all-season tire in OE fitment that I should take a serious look at for similar or less money?
