well ive had a very odd experence for the last couple of days when i cruise at 40-50 it feels like the tranny is.....slipping or wanting to change gears.....but the problem stops when i take overdrive off is my final gear crapping out on me?

Thank god this was about the car....whew...

If your cars hesitating at all thats not a good sign...
Wires, cylinders, or vacuums...1st...then check the trans....

If it is surging (rpms are fluxuating *spelling*) when trying to go into overdrive, you have slippage... which is what I had before I dropped the auto for a 5 speed... your overdrive clutches are probably fried
