Hi... the two lower speeds on my fan control don't work... only the two higher speeds work.
Anyone else experience this situation???

You didn't know? It's the extremely rare edition "Freezing Weather Edition" Solara, where if you are constantly subjected to cold weather that is below freezing, Toyota has made the courtesy of:

-Plug-in engine block heater with 30' cord
-Manual climate control with air conditioning deletion and 2 fan speeds of "medium-high" and "high"
-Radiator insulator
-Individual 10,000 BTU gasoline-powered heating element
-Heated seats with cloth overlay (Ed's comment: Someone imported it over to Cali; you'll burn a hole in "them jeans" here, but not in Paulatuk, Canada!)
-Front and rear custom-formed windshield wipers with built-in ice scrapers
-P205/60R16 Studded tires

All joking aside, I think he meant the fan speeds are broken, while of course, the Gen1's auto climate even has 5, and I think the Gen2's have 5-7(???).

^^^ So I gotta freeze my azz up here and listen to your smart-arse comments too!! Its been single digit temps (in celsius) here this past week.

Anyways, getting back to my original question, there are a total of 4 different positions (not including OFF) in the manual climate control fan settings. The two higher positions work but the lower positions closest to OFF dont work.
I've heard it could be my blower resistor. Anybody else experience this?

My friend in his 240SX had the same problem. It was his resistor also.

I have my bottom 3 speeds gone and all I have is the highest. So I go from freezing to burning up and back again. I would benefit too from any knowledge on how to fix this problem.
