I do half in the PCV valve and the other half in a half tank of gas. If you do the PCV valve it cleans the throttle body but smokes like the car is on fire so do it in an open area like a big parking lot also I do it when I'm due for an oil change too.

seafoam is great. im not sure about the pcv valve though. you are pouring the seafoam right onto the lifters under the cam cover. and it is only on one side. i do this.

1/3 in the gas tank (cleans the fuel injectors, eliminates any water in the gas tank)
1/3 in through the oil filler
1/3 in through the brake booster vac line (this cleans the combustion chamber, intake/exhaust valves and some of the intake plenum, but not as good as a throttle body spray)

whenever you put the seafoam in the oil, you will want to change the oil and filter asap.

If all your doing is 1/3 in the gas tank then IMO even a consentrate STP fuel injection cleaner is suffice in the gas tank.

I normally do the 1/3 on the tank and 1/3 on the oil every year. If i could do the 1/3 on the brake/bster lines i'd do it. I'm pretty sure my homeowners association will cite me for overexessive smoke. heck, they are pretty bad...we already got a notice for haloween yard signs on nov 2nd!!!

I've used that stuff and it did absolutely nothing for my vehicle.
