I'm gonna have to go ahead and disagree with Flip on this one. I think the Lambo doors do look very unique and are worth the price. Others may argue that it's ricey, but this is just my opinion. Cant way to see Moe's finished project.

well..i can think of two advantages....

1) there's no chance of hitting any short polls at gas station...
2) I suppose it would be easier to deal w/ a car seat
3) no more heavy doors??

reminds me of michael j. fox and back to the future...and all those drug dealer movies :evilbat:

Ummm the DeLorean had gullwing doors...not flip up scissor doors like the Lambo. Asthetically it would be cool. But you have to remember, the solara's door is frameless around the window (unlike the lambos with a frame around the window...so stability and structrural rigidity is greatly hindered when you have to close the door in that sense.

BTW, I can't wait to see how Moe's car personally.

Actually, I have seen the lambo hinges on a mustang convertible.......the doors had hydraulics built in to push the doors out slightly and raise them up automatically. It's all about the depth of your pocket.
