Question about stock centercaps

Question about stock centercaps

Postby Solorange » Fri Nov 17, 2006 4:17 pm

This probably a dumb question to ask since Im pretty sure I know the answer but is the stock V6 rims on a gen1 and gen1.5 the same? I know the center caps are different. I just want to make sure. I put my stock rims back on today and I descided that I dont like the black center caps. I want to get some silver ones as long and they didnt change anything on the rim.

you have black center caps? se rims? my guess is that theyre interchangable. someone will know for sure....
notice a difference in the ride quality without the rims? i actually kind of like the look of the drop on stocks.... though the wheels sink right into the wheel well........

I was kind of curious about that myself. I have a gen 1 and I have black center caps. I've seen pics of other Solaras with silver and I wondered about the difference.
I prefer the black.
