I don't think that flaming someone for sharing their vids are cool either... how many of you have posted in the "Racing Stories" thread??

At least he has the cajones to show it - and not just tell a story about going 135, etc...

BTW - the second vid worked better, but I too would have loved to see the red/blue lights flashing in your mirror. ;)

Be safe though - without that seatbelt, you'll slide around when you corner or hit bumps! ;)

Actually - some pretty cool mods on your car man! (Check out his CD page) - but enough with the name calling and crap folks... geezes.

Sorry Mr. Wang about the insults I said to you, that was a bit uncalled for.

I just get really upset whenever I see people doing stupid stuff like that.

Yeah I know - scary as hell to have someone zoom by you like that - but I have to admit I've done that in the past as well, so who am I to pass judgment. ;)

Still though - I'd like to see more of what he has done to his car... his CD site needs more updated pics!

EXACTLY!!!!!

But anyway everyone does something stupid in their life, important thing is to learn from the mistake/stupidity and not repeat it... at least this one did not result in anyone getting hurt.

"I heard, where's a Mod when you need one..."

Honestly, I personally think the comments skirt the edge of being appropriate. (With exception to illegal usage of Hockey equipment) Sometimes we just want to see how it plays out.

There's nothing I need to say that hasn't been said already. I don't want to be a hypocrite by saying driving that fast is for stupid people. I've done it in the past. But I've matured enough to now understand the ripple of effects that come from one thing going wrong. I've walked away from a couple situations that I consider to be extremely lucky for my being so damn stupid.

Wang, now that "you've been there and done that..." I hope you don't feel anymore need to repeat this. (For your sake and the sake of others near you.) I hope you never have to learn life's harsh lessons the hard way.

The next time you head out and have the "Need for Speed" just take a good look at the faces of the people who share the road with you. Imagine their children, brothers, sisters, friends. All the people whose lives would be distrought by the loss of their loved one.

I spent too many years seeing the other cars on the road and not the people who drive them. I drove like a feind with no respect for others. After one very "near" collision from my stupidity, I looked into the eyes of the woman I almost hit. Instead of flipping me off, she said thank you to God while she turned to check on her kids in the back seat. I'll never forget her face and I'll never see another car on the road as a face-less machine.

Live long my friend. Never stop enjoying your ride but please do so in a place and manner that is safe to everyone.

Peace -

I think you read wrong...no props for this act. I'd rather watch your "less than manly" dance video than to watch this again!

Well, I could give commendation for hitting those speeds; 3 mph more than I have achieved going down a highway in Yucca Valley until 2 trucks side-by-side and a weird blue flash slowed me down, but that was when I just dumped the SenCrap by lemon law with an almost dangerously slow engine. Besides c'mon... It's Yucca Valley; it's so devoid of entertainment that it was either that or go down to some retirement home and watch some Korean guy impersonate Elvis.

Either way at first I bragged about it, but eventually I decided that, even if it was an open highway with almost no other cars, I look back on it and almost regret it.

Therefore, be safe, buckle up (at least that) and check your gas ;-) . Glad you had fun.

I dont think we should too harsh on Mr. Wang 2000. The main purpose of posting videos is show things that are out of the ordinary slash entertaining. (For example Kramers Neo-Nazi views, OJ's educational tutorial on how to kill your white baby mama and her young boytoy etc etc). The fact that he got away is pretty extraordinary and something that does not happen everyday. Personally if I ran from the cops and was able to record it I would also post it up just to show the crazy experience. If he indeed hurt people along the ride I don't think he would've posted the video. In conclusion, the video was perfect for this forum. It was interesting/entertaining/horrifying.. and best of all.. it involved a Solara!!
