i have a 2000 solara 4 cyl. plz help me make it faster

Hey guys my father went out and bought me a 2000 Solara w/ 60g miles on it, it runs incredible and smooth. i just want to get a little more juice out of it. can someone help me find a way to do this. thank you it will be greatley appreciated.

ok seriously now, anything is possible as long as you have the $$ and as we've said many many many times before, you won't be able to do much to this car with 'simple' mods so you'll have to go big, do you have what it takes? otherwise, just do some cosmetic work for now. Make it look pretty and all and when you've saved some serious cash then let's go back to this thread.

^^^agreed...solara is the wrong plateform to get impressive gains with minimal funds. Best you can do for now is intake and exhaust. Of course there's always rims and a drop, but unless you got some good money for a turbo or something, your out of luck.

^^ what he said. The 5sfe platform was built to be reliable. Many patrons with the same engine in celica/camry's have attained easy 250K PLUS miles on their 5sfe's. I'd suggest you to look at the positive aspects of the 5sfe. Good Luck

If this were the case........ Why is your dad buying you an old 4 banger solara.....

Solara's are slow even in the v6 form..... just make it look good.
