i dunno but i like my own personal touch.
7600k in headlights.
as well as fogs. it's unique from the rest.

Depends on your climate. If it's mostly sunny, the 6000K would do, but in bad weather (such as rain and snow), the higher Kelvin ratings (what the K stands for) would create glare in the snow, and decreased visibility in the rain due to it reflecting off the road, where lower K ratings would stand supreme. Therefore, that's the reason NO car [that I know of] comes stock with HID fogs; even the 745Li comes with halogen.

i had the 3K HIDs in my fogs with 8K HIDs in the low beams, i liked it and the visibility was great. i got quite a few compliments on the set up.

Yes the 3000k look is popular, but there are not very many that have the real 3000k HID in their fogs... that is still a very distinctive look...
