yes well
im gonna take matts word for it thats thats the shipping cost kuz i dont even know what the dimensions are. But if any of you are swayed by the shipping cost in your decision to buy in contact island motorsports with any concerns.

and mark im not too sure if ups would charge that cheap kuz standard ups ground to ship my rims when i sold em was nearly 200 dollars. And those were 16" wheels only weighing like 42 pounds per pair.
So 150 sounds about right to me.

I am very interested, but let me clear this up. It’s a 50% deposit by Jan 16. Does the deposit have to include shipping costs? And who gets the deposit money? You chunks?

Oh anyone know how much it would cost to paint the kit gold?

the 50% deposit will not include the shipping money. After the kits arrive at island i will take down all shipping addresses, the remaining 50% AND shipping money and ship them all out promptly. The deposit money will go to me so that I can lump it all together and pay island motorsports all at 1 time. After they recieve that bulked deposit money they will order the kits.

I'll show you my reciepts for the kits being shipped by ups ground taken to the ups Center in Cerritos!

you do know I still sell the TRD camry kits and they are the SAME size box as the Solara kits

Irrelevant

Postby JMSinMaryland » Tue Nov 28, 2006 5:01 pm

Irrelevant of shipping it's still a good deal for a product that has been out of reach. I think I paid $1500 for my kit when they were still in production. Jon.

update
In the interest of finding best price possible i made quite a few phone calls and found that this is the lowest price one could sell this kaminari kit for. If you recieve a price lower be sure to check that this is original kaminari product. Unfortunately due to this fact, this group buy price will stay firm

My supplier has told me that any price lower would have to be drop shipped, requiring a 100% deposit. If you guys would be okay 100% deposit the price for shipping goes down. On top of that, any base price lower than 716 is "impossible". The reason this is is because this is below cutoff point.

This is the information i found out from my sources at Island motorsports and their contact at Kaminari Direct.

thank you

i'd be down. i figure you guys would want to set aside the whole amount anyways...

would the shipping go down significantly, or just a little? plus, what would shipping to 808 be?

shipping without 100% deposit ( no drop ship ) would be around 150
with 100% deposit ( drop shipped ) price for shipping should go down around 50 dollars, so the cost of shipping is around 100.
the reason i dont want to drop ship is so that i can assure each individual's kits get out, undamaged and on a promised time
if i drop ship i cannot promise a shipped time because it would all be up to kaminari, and i cant promise that there will not be any damage coming direct from kaminari.

you know what i mean?
