Sorry, I'm the one who bought it though some of the accessories are missing. Externally, it's on good condition. I will use it as a spare for my existing (~50K miles) S/C which is now showing some oil leak at the nose. I will do the swap and test it this weekend. If it's decent enough to use then I'll send my original for recondtioning.

Here is a close up picture of the S/C;

I contacted PSE Superchargers Inc. (www.psesuperchargers.com) and they told me their standard remanufacture for my our supercharger is $700 which is ok if all bearings are replaced.

Want to make sure the S/C unit is really in bad shape and that it's due for a rebuild. I dismantle the unit and found out that the internals are still in good shape but need some serious cleaning. Here are some pictures;

The nose and drive gears;

The impellers (before and after);

The inside of the housing;

The intake ports;

The coupler is still in excellent condition.

The original (drained) oil, it's already black and this is the only one that I need to replace.

Yes indeed. I still have to clean the air chamber. I need to find a flexible wire brush to reach the intake ports and sorroundings from such a small opening.

Cleaning the impellers is a pain. Thanks to my general (the wife) for mentioning that acetone is perfect for caked/hardened oil film (from the oil vapor coming from the PCV and front valve cover breather > intake tube).

Image Image

I'm hoping that my DIY oil catch can/bottle (from Craftsman - compressor line filter) that I installed will minimize the accumulation of oil film on the impellers.
