TRD Kit install underway

Postby Duffman » Sat Dec 02, 2006 10:11 pm

My biggest issue with my kit (not sure if it's because it was a 1.5 kit that used to be on a Gen 1, but is now on a Gen 1.5 again) is that the front skirts don't seem to be flush with the front end of the car (they seem to "droop" a little bit). It has been suggested that perhaps a little silicone would fill it in nicely, but... I dunno. I'll get some shots and probably start a thread on it tomorrow.

Not a good idea for a car. I much rather have the hitch that you can hardly see than a thing on the top of my roof.

Some roof racks look sick but if you like to just pull into the garage with your car loaded up then I see how the hitch is better. Does anybody make a roof rack for our cars anyway?

Here are some pictures of the rest of the kit. I totally banged up one of the front valences trying to put it on, but I think it'll buff out. I'm waiting on some new 3M double stick tape before I install the rest of the kit.
