Is it okay for me to keep my stock shocks on when i put my eibach pro kit springs?

the stock ones r crap. save up til u can afford to get the tokicos.

that is recommended, but what mileage do you have on the car? i was running my stock struts from 17k up to 30k till the stocks went out. pretty fun though, when on fwys im a floating boat after going through an imperfection on the road.

why don't you just swap the struts and the springs out at the same time? are you gonna DIY? you'll save money either way if you get struts/springs done all at once. if you lower it with the springs, you'll have to get a re-alignment check done. and if you get the struts later on, you'll have to get that same check done again and pay the same fee.

besides, with upgraded springs, you'll wear out you're struts more faster. might as well do it right the first time.

Not really because your ride will get bouncy and uncomfortable in no time.

i made the mistake of upgrading to eibach and leaving my stock struts on...it actually created a leak in the strut after about 2000 miles...so i recommend doing the upgrade with the springs at the same time...L8r moe :evilbat:

Do it right the first time, especially if you are paying someone to do it. For the price the springs/struts are at, it doesn't make sense to have to replace the struts later on. You won't regret the upgraded suspension.

The OEM struts will last about 6 months until they are going to show signs of going bad

yup, i reccomend the same advice, esp with the mileage you are at. unless you like the hardcore body roll and boat feeling

The tokico struts are $329 for the solara. Check the sticky message in the forsale section for info on how to purchase them
