I'm happy, I finally got it and it's in! It wasn't hard at all to install, but I do have one question. There is a small hose-looking hole near the filter on the right side. What plugs into/goes into that hole? I didn't know, so I put a locknut with a washer and a bolt in it to seal the hole temporarily. Please let me know ASAP, thanks!

That looks great. Do they offer those for 06, I4 Solaras? I'd like to look into getting one.

This is what i did to the hole in my Injen SRI:

got the little filter from a local pepboys and stuck it on with a clamp...only thing is that i had to shave some of the rubber off so it would fit the hole on the intake.

uhhh, The purpose of the heat shield is to keep heat AWAY from the filter. Eventhough it's nice to have INJEN right side up and all, isn't the heatshield suppose to be pointing the OTHER way? Your engine is to the left, NOT to the right, so why do you have the heat shield shielding on the right? The way you have it set up, it seems like heat will get absorbed even MORE seeing how that hot air will just get trapped in there now.

The V6 didn't need a heat shield, so it's certainly useless in the I4. Leave it how you like it or remove it if you want.

can you elaborate on this Down2TheC? Why wouldn't it need a heat shield? no flaming...

That's what I have. I got mine from i20solara02i along with headers for a good price, and I can't wait to install the headers! Thanks again i20solara02i I love the stuff. About the heat shield, I didn't know because my Saturn never had one so thanks for the clarification.

As for that mini filter, that looks pretty cool! I think I'll have to get one just for kicks, maybe it gives me boost or something WOAH?!?!?! haha just kidding but I like it. How much did it set you back? I'm hoping just a little not like $40 or something?

I got it like long time ago for about 15 - 20 bucks max I don't quite remember. I just know that it's not $40 or anything close to it for sure. Gluck !
