Nice! Reminds me of the paint my mom had on her audi. It would look black under low light but in the sun it was a deep flake blue.

i have almost the exact same paint job. what happens is that they paint it w/ a regular black paint and then add a pearl blue to it. thats what i did w/ mine. it looks nice as all hell. especially in the sun or when you look at it very closely. example...

Image
that one looks black and just plain black( I think so atleast)

Image
and here you can see the the blue jumping out at you.

QuickSEV6: that is what he means when he says that its blue. am i right Wang2k?
almost there...what do you think?

I see. Thats a nice effect. In that first pic I saw, it only looked black. I guess you gotta get it in the right light for the blue to show up. Very cool.

thanks guys, and s15lara has almost the exact pearl in his paint that I do. Ill get some better pics on here the next sunny day.

the cost was 7200 total(i had lots of light body damage, dings dents, etc)

Also a week after getting it back i raced it with slicks on and sheared my wheel studs and ruined my passenger side fender. aint that a b. i was racing a ls1 firebird 6 speed and i know they launch so i revved to 6k and dropped the clutch like a pro lol...anyway we replaced the studs on the side of the road there later (the guy was my buddy and we had enough tools between us to do the job and a quick run to orielly.) then we raced successfully and i took him(he on drag radials, they didnt hook very well ill give him that) im at 9 psi(cold winter air does wonders doesnt it) so i should really hit the dyno. Right now i just tuned my neo with an air fuel gauge to a consistent 12.5:1 at wot.
