No OBDII scanning at AutoZone

No OBDII scanning at AutoZone

I wanted to read some codes at AutoZone here in San Jose, CA. It turns out that they've discontinued the service 6 months ago. I'm not sure if it applies to all AutoZone's, but they do not offer the service anymore.

Anyone happen to know where else I'd be able to get the code read for free?

They still do that service in Dallas.

Perhaps you can use Yellow Pages to find the other AutoZone,
and call them to check whether they still have thae service or not.

Easiest way,

maps.yahoo.com

Enter your zip, then use "Find Nearby Businesses" and you'll get a nice list of autozones

from what i understand they stopped doing it because of many many shops complaining that they are doing it for free, and they are losing money that way
