the s/c price keeps jumping. what the hey.

first, it was 1500. when i checked a few months ago, it was 2400. i checked again, now it's 3500!

if i wait some more, will the price go up again? is there a cheap place to buy one?

I think you have your prices screwed up. It was never $1500, atleast not mainstream.

It was $1850 for the entire month of november from eddie at kinderhook toyota. The reason it was so cheap was because TRD lowered their dealer cost and MSRP (down to $1999) to clear out inventory.

I think what you are now seeing is that some dealers bought extra Superchargers and had a few in inventory so they could sell them for around $2000-2500 and still make money. Now as their inventory is depleted they must buy at regular price from TRD and therefore our price goes up. It should stay constant at around $2700-3000 if you find the right place

Simple economics... supply and demand...

Since they discontinued it and the demand probably stays about the same... the prices can go up (if the seller wishes it to)... so in the end... you get screwed for waiting =P
