Ok here i go...i talked to the body shop guy today. He has finished doing the s15 conversion(good news). However, the install was not 100% successful. The corner (near the fender) flares out more than i thought(bad news). So extra work is required and my car wont be able to make it to its first planned show this weekend(horrible news).

Since i now have a month and a half to perfect the car for HIN in houston (june, 7th) i have made some HUGE decisions. To compliment the new s15 conversion i am having the body shop guy customize a FULL custom wide body kit.(Great news). This is not just fender flares like that sc3 blue solara(which looks dope by the way!). This work consists of flaring the whole side of the solara out about 4-5 inches and doing fender flares+skirt flares+rear fender flares and will smooth down on the front bumper and rear bumper. :P

NOW, i have a question for the smart mods on this forum or whoever else... I am still getting the 19"GT-C's ...what size tire and offset should i now get?

By the way this is not part of my sponsorship and i will be out-of-pocket about $4000...but i forced myself into it...am i just waisting my time or should i meet my goal? Im kinda depressed since i cant make my first show and this work will add another month onto my deadline so any comments or wishes are welcome...sorry for the extra long post. L8r moe :evilbat:

If you want good fitment, go with the combo steve did. www.schung07.com

The bad thing is you will have to use spacers and roll your fenders if they aren't already done.

I had to do a domain name transfer because my previous registrar was too expensive. The site should be up in the next 24-48 hours. Sorry about that. :)

for wide body'd cars, some people use spacers. a spacer is a ring that goes on the hub of the rotor, and pushes the wheel out away from the center of the car. making the car standing wider and would match the wide body of the car. H&R carries them. Trak+ or something

The kit better not have a big hole in the front where I can see the ugly radiator haha... since you don't have a FMIC

There was a discussion on spacers before. Since the OEM studs on your hubs get really shortened with spacers, there is less for the nut to tighten down on...and with all that extra added stress, the threads on the stud can fail...and cause your wheel to fall off.
