next mod this thursday.... ipod interface for the headunit and %20 tint on back 3 windows. sux i cant do the front, illegal in jersey :-?

i was thinking i might as well get something else done at the same time... i looked this up (yes i do search) and i seem to find mixed resposes for the PIAA XTREME WHITE PLUS 15224 bulbs. http://www.abtelectronics.com/product/18991.html
guy at the shop offered them at 90 for the pair at first but lowered it to 75 (with installation) i guess since he's starting to get to know me. i know i could probably get them way cheaper but i dont want to damage anything by installing them myself. anyone have any first hand experience with these? i keep reading about how its hard to see in the rain with these and that the life of the bulbs is only a few months. whats fact and fiction?! i hope to make up my mind by thursday so i can get it all done at once, if not i might have to wait until i save enough money for a good alarm system (probably a viper) which will be my next mod.

damn solaraguy.org has cost me about a grand already lol

im keeping track of my spending too, heres the list

$355.95 - Jensen VM0311 Touch Screen
$26.98 - JLink Ipod Cable
$99.99 - Infinity Reference 1242w 12" (pair)
$6.49 - 8 feet of 12 gauge cable by StreetWires
$24.99 - 11.5ft RCA cables by StreetWires
$197.18 - Profile AP2000 California series amp (320 watts RMS x2 at 4ohm)
$250 - Installation for amp, amp wiring, head unit, brain, subs, and actual sub box

this adds up to $961.58!

plus this thursday the tint is gonna cost me another $150, and if i do the lights its $75 more! its becoming an addiction lol

is it worth it??? YESSSSS

doesn't the jensen come with that mobile brain that has ipod interface?

i wouldn't spend 75 bucks for piaa bulbs. i bought the piaa gtx plasma before for 95 and they burnt out in 5 months you should just get hids they're the best bang for the buck

very nice man
where many hate, few will love,
But for those who love,
they'll see what it's like to live.
