Fuel delivery problems
Problem: I've been driving with my check engine light on for a month or so. The car has been sputtering and jerking on acceleration. I thought it was a knock sensor pulling it back, but I found out from the toyota dealer that it may be the fuel delivery system.
Toyota said it may be the fuel pump, fuel filter and/or fuel lines from the filter to the fuel rails. They could not determine though because all of those parts are aftermarket and they won't work on non OEM parts. The fuel pump is from URD, the filter and lines from Jim's fuel kit.
So, I'm having it checked out by my mechanic tomorrow to see exactly what it is. Has anyone else had fuel delivery problems that led to your car jerking?
