I always lower cars before I put wheels on....... So YES to your Question..... In my head cars that have aftermarket wheels and are not lowered look like they are missing something...


Also the only things needed to lower your car are springs.... if you want the cheapest easy way.... a little bouncy though.

Springs and struts if you want your lowered car to rebound stiffer than stock while being lowered... Tokicos are the best in my opinion for your solara (not to stiff but not OEM soft either).

And the only route I go with in this day in age.... Coilovers.... Nothing like having a Custom Spring rate to your liking, Adjusting the Damper to your liking, and again depending on the wheels you have and/or situations or places you are going to encounter, you will be able to adjust the height as well. BEST of all, you handle as if riding on rails!

Also, No camber kits/Bolts, new mounts, anything extra needed to do such a easy job that will best of all inhance the look of your car.
