curse

Postby LatinUSMC » Thu Jan 18, 2007 11:24 am

i didnt know there was a"silver solara curse :o :o :o :o i crashed and got sandwished by by and expeddition and a dumptruck. but only paid 300 dolars to the body shop to get it fixed. i had luck and a shady body shop guy. yu can choses what body shop fixes your car.

IM GLAD YOURE OK WHERE WAS THE IMPACT???

id advise to wait for the ins adjuster and hope you get one that really feels your pains$$.

start looking for a body shop who will over-price the fix costs and not charge you all the deductible..

BTW your car is currently worth $11,100 stock(i just checked the blue book value) what the ins co will give you, so if it'a tottal loss" they'll cut a check for that plus what ever extra they feel is worth adding (probably not the extras) so if i where you id wait till the ins co tells you what you can get back...maybe you want to buy a new car, and just part out the solara to us Vultures?? i want the trd springs and struts..and kit!!! :P

Seriously interested in the SC unit -Is this the one for the 1MZ/3.0L engine, or the 3.4L unit?

Glad to hear you are okay... try to take everything you can... sometimes insurance companies are dicks and wont let you take anything, but sometimes if you have the "stock" parts they will let you swap them...

Im sure some insurance companies wont let you take the parts off, so if you think you have time to take everything off the car quick, i would do it. Whos your insurance

hey man, glad to hear you're ok.

id like to be first in line for the trd struts and springs. could you please tell me the mileage? also, id be interested in the rear center valence. finally, how difficult is the shortshifter to install? it just makes the throws shorter, not the height of the stick, right?

I hate to sound cold here, but why can't one of the Gen 2's eat it so I can get their skirt kit? ;)

Wow, what the heck did you hit?? Looks like wierd damage. Glad you are OK.

A lot of the parts (from the pics) look damaged...looks like the TRD kit was laying twisted on the floor and the rims...whew...

LatinUSMC: You are an insurance agent...telling someone to over price repairs??? That's one of the reasons we all pay so much, you should know that!

PXL: I know I'm not jinxed by your comment on crashing a gen 2...I don't have a kit! LOL

Postby JMSinMaryland » Thu Jan 18, 2007 6:47 pm

Is this a joke? How can you post those rims for sale when they're toast? That car is beyond totaled. Please explain. Jon.
