hey guys if your interested performance parts for our engine please go here and leave a msg. if we get enough peepz that are interested, they'll might make parts for our car. ie: headers, supercharger, turbo??

supercharger = no no... superchargers don't work with vvt-i (from my readings on the forum), but turbos do. I thought you were getting a mr-2. You're still going to pump money into your Solara ?

I think it is worthless. It would seem there is mega lack of interest from the other 5S-FE people on here. Heh. I would guess you’re in the same boat.

I mean there are like millions of 5S motors world wide, and there aren’t 15 people interested in headers. BAH. LOL sorry about that rant, I hope Ripp has a descent price on there headers, when they put those up for sale.

the 2az fe engine is much stronger than the previous 4banger...we need a turbo

no one interested??? here the chance to get performance parts here. when no one wants to make performance parts for our car we complain. and when someone does no one wants to go through with it.

I complained before, but then I found out I'm not keeping the Solara for too long... so it would be a waste of money for me to invest into the Solara. Sorry man, if I were keeping the car longer, I would be in on this.

why would you say its a waste of time & money? the more you do such as exhaust, intake,& header you more horses & ...... BETTER GAS MILEAGE. so why would that be a waste?

I'm getting another car in a few years... that's why it is a waste for me.

hey guys if we can get enough people interested for performance part for our car. Xerd can make headers n twin turbo for our car.

OooOoo!! If it were a TT and it was actually safe (no oil leaks and other common problems for strapping on a T to a non T engine), I'd keep the Solara and do it

But I'd want to hear some numbers first

Uhhh not in all cases. For the most optimal case yes. But in most cases NO.
