most injens are polished while the CPE has a heat resistant powdercoat and that can make a huge difference. Also the built in heat shield protects it nicely.

Yeah, next time I have the car up on jacks (front brake pads) i am gonna take out that white resonator jug and black intake piping as well.

the injen SRI from my experience is nothing really but noise...
You can actually notice the difference the CP-e makes...

and putting in the CP-e isnt hard if i can do it
just pay attention the wires u connect to and what not.
i didnt have a meter to really check so i guess i kinda took a chance.

Speaking of heat... i took it out today as i was getting a new battery... and pushed it to see the difference it makes... and popped the hood to feel the cpe after wards.. man that thing was pretty hot...
im hoping the powder coating is doing its thing and fighting that heat.
The heat shield is quite nice isnt it.

I was one of the first to get this intake and I told ya'll from day one that it was worth every penny.

What's that fitting on the intake for? I was thinking nitrous but aparantly not.

And also on that note, 425 for a nitrouw kit and like what 450 for this intake on a 5spd and you're moving the screw out for under a thousand dollars. People are always looking for power and explain about how expensive it is yet have no reservation spending that money on a lip kit and every hesitiation when it comes to spending it on a couple of mods that will make your car at least respectable if not formidable.

And finally... No, injen has nothing on this. Comparatively, it would be like buying a 64mb mp3player for $100 bucks if a 4gb ipod were available for $200. It's just not even worth it to not spend the extra money, I don't know why people still buy the injen. And yes I've owned both.

I installed mine behind the glove box. I attached it to the ECM with 3M super strength double sided tape and zip tied it.
