I don't know but I would have to think you'd fail inspections with this mod on.

It will work the resonator has nothing to do with your emissions as long as you don't touch the cat. Check the length first and pipe size. Also you will probably not get much unless you upgrade the rest of the piping and the muffler.

I guess I assumed that you'd modifying your muffler (I don't see what the point is if you don't) and are putting this on from add'l sound absorption.

muffler and resonator will not affect emissions tests...as long as you still have a catlytic converter, you will be fine.

only guys that will hassle you would be the cops, just for having a loud exhaust...however, this is a rare occurance, so I say go for it!

I've seen "STRAIGHT PIPES" on vehicles around here... rumbling alongside cops...

...still don't know what all this "INSPECTION" business is you guys are worried about... our registrations in my area just say --> EMISSIONS: "N/A" 8)

My Supra runs downpipe diameter (3") straight back... no resonator, no cat, no muffy... yes, it is pretty healthy sounding. (I just ease off-throttle a little, not completely, and can keep a "modest" tone when around cops with it.... cause under many OTHER scenarios, it's a little aggressive around law enforcement for my comfort.)

Yay! Rural Ohio emissions laws!!!

yeah my muffler is modded so i think it will help out a little bit

also the length is 16" long a 4" wide

it says that it fits piping that is 2 - 2.5", and mine is 2.25" so i should be good

I have Gen2, so it is not going to be the same as your setup, but i have replaced my catback to 2.5 pipe, with viblant's resonator spec as following

Inlet Diameter: 2.5"
Outlet Diameter: 2.5"
Resonator Size: 4" Round Body, 15.5" Long
Overall Length: 18"

i assume it won't be that much different in size, so the one you are looking at should fit without muchproblem.

good luck.

if you going to do something like this get a whole catback and add it in. I would not bother on stock piping. Here is a pic of my first attempt EVER at making a custom exhaust I used an 18 inch long glass pack resonator.
