Postby Orefus » Sat Jan 20, 2007 10:38 am

It was sunny and cold out, and i didnt notice the thin layer of ice on the asphalt. I went into a pole once my car lost controll at like 20-25 mph. The damage is done on the left side of the car here is a pic

there is no frame damage, although the passenger door wont open fully, i think its mostly cosmetic. Guys wana give me some numbers, im planning on fixing it myself.

probably gonna be alot more then you think to pay out of pocket.. i got into an accident that didnte even have that much damage and it was 2k, not to mention you cant say theres no frame damage till you pull it apart, cause im sure theres stuff under there that needs straightening just from lookin at it.. here was mine, i didnt need a hood, but i did need a bumper, fender and headlight..

You will need a new hood, fender, headlight, corner light, front bumper, and fog light.
It goin' to be expensive man.
Good luck.

Ten dollars to a hole in a doughnut, your car will need some frame straightening.

Nice thing that you were able to walk away from it.

Ouch, glad you're all good. I've seen OEM bumpers and fogs on ebay for pretty cheap.

OUCH!!

That'll make me slow down here!!(It was real icy last weekend and snowed 6-7" today.)

Everyone else is right, it will probably be more than you think. Someone smushed my drivers front fender in a parking lot, and Im thinkin 250-350 to fix right? Shop estimated 860ish. LORDY!!

Cars are expensive!!

the head light and the corner light both work well. I need hood fender and bumper. I looked around, and if i take it and do it myself it will do me about 400

If there's no hidden damage, you just dodged a bullet.
