I installed the TRD shifter in mine, I don't really know if their is a difference between both shifters, but let me know if you any questions.
2000 Solara V6 SE 5speed, TRD short shifter, Custom made CIA with K&N filter, Intrax Springs with Tokico Struts, TRD RSB, Super-Pro bushings all around

Well first, I have Gen3 Camrys.... My girl's Solara is the Gen2 solara V6, (no stickshift ((you know what I mean)) for the v6)..... :wink:

And to answer your question, yes it does bolt up since we use the same tranny.... Here is a pic
