well i was hesitant about adding the bike rack, but for my purposes i really needed one. some people have said it makes the car look better. what do you guys think?

The rack is nice, but IMHO when I see it stay on a car all the time, then I just think "lazy bastard."

The rack creates wind noise and resistance. No matter who makes the rack or how it's designed, it is hard on the paint. Leave it on for extended periods and you will see evidence marks.

On a seperate note, the 'Lara is lookin' good. I don't think you need the rack to improve it.

i agree with having the removable rack on the rear end, both for aerodynamic and paint reasons, but cosmetically i think the roof rack looks good...doesnt somone on sg have that rear bike setup? vegas maybe? the rear one would be nice for easy removability and keeping the paint safe as well as eliminating the wind noise from the roof rack.

how tough was installation? where exactly is it secured?
