So the snow is finally melted enough to take out my car!! so i washed it in the driveway and drove it to go lift after school!! I had the camera in the car and thought i would take some pics with the mountains in the background in my school parking lot! It sucks cuse you can barely see the mountains, and i have my stock rims on for winter. But here she is.......

i would, but ive already screwed up the body kit enough without them. and just pulling into my driveway i would rip up the kit! if i keep the car, im going to try springs this summer or what i really want to do is put it on airbagz so i can drop it, then when i have a ditch or my driveway i can raise it to avoid fukin up my kit!

Honestly

Postby JMSinMaryland » Fri Jan 26, 2007 6:58 pm

I don't mean to flame or anything but your car looks like crap. A Solara is not a car to be riced out but you've managed. I'd either A)find a TRD body kit and lower it or B)go back to stock body, lower and some nice 18's. Right now it looks like a joke. Constructively criticizing. Jon.

p.s. btw this is my 01 Solara before I replaced it with my Camry

Wow, that was kinda rude.

I must admit that the kit on the car isn't my style, but there's no reason to slam the guy. You could get your point across in a much nicer way.

Jeez...

your car is damn clean but yeah.. not a fan of the fiberglass kit..... doesnt "fit" the look of the solara. still, clean car, and if you like it thats all that matters.

give the kid a break. i think the kit is nice it just needs to be lowered.

I know you're a student and i'm on the same boat. Don't listen to these clowns drive it the way it is while saving up for springs and struts. get it done the right way the first time

woa_its_jeff. your car is touching the sky too doofus. at least he has a fiberglass kit not a bunch of cheese grated stickers. i wont even bring up no fear or the R Racing

yankees. a trd kit isn't that easy to find. he's a student just like you. so even if he did find one he might not be able to afford it. you had 2 solaras in possession and i think the only real mod you afforded was a trd rsb.

jon. thats too criticism hes only student who takes pride in his car. at least comment on the good photo taking skills. i'm sure he doesn't have the money for $1000+ rims, supercharger, trd kit, heck maybe he can't even afford tinted windows right now. When you're in college you'd be lucky if you can afford to eat out. He does have better photo taking skills than you though

Rich what about the kumanari kit? Isnt that identical to the trd. I can afford much more than a rsb. Your sentence should read the only real mod i have done to my car is the trd rsb. I did the mods i felt were right and made a change and i stopped at the point where it wasnt worth it any more. If i can afford two solaras i think i can afford more mods than i have now but simply i dont want to spend 2-3 grand in mods on a car thats worth 6k. Common sense. Please man speak for yourself, if my comments offend birdman im sure hell let me know.

yeah man i know my car has to be lowered hence me saving up for a kit since i am too a college student. as for the stupid gay stickers i had on my car before, i aint ashamed to admit i had it on and even sent you how it looked before cuz i went through a phase just like a few other people in this forum did. everyone's opinion can be expressed here in their own way whether if it's by me, Yankee, or Jon.
or yours.

you dont have to keep sounding like a skipped CD and repeating the same crap over and over. speak for yourself, everyone takes pride and joy into their own car I never said birdman's car was bad, everyone has their own taste and style. leave it at that.
