im assuming shift kit as what some domestics have.. ie ratchet, hammer, something like that. or did you mean shift kit as in fooling around with the ECU, to change shift points?

shift kits are put into an auto tranny to make the car shift at higher rpms and provide quicker and firmer shifts. not really sure how it is accomplished (valving, solenoids, etc?)......but i guess it doesn't matter since they don't make em for the solara anyway.

how bout u go trade the slushbox for a stick :)

I don't have personal experience with them, but Level 10 can modify your valve body for quicker shifts and greater transmission durability. You have to take the car to them or ship them the valve body for modification.

I didn't have a choice with the auto or stick... and I have too much in my car to give it away now... its mine.. i wouldn't give it up for a different Solara w\ a stick.... I like my car

I feel the same way. Level 10 is 30 minutes away from me so when i get some time i'm going to make a trip down to there
