In Omaha, a majority of the Solara owners are 45-55 year old woman drivers... With Exception with 2 other teenagers that I have seen on occasion at night... which leads me to believe that its a parents car... I think I am the ONLY teen w\ a Solara in Omaha. Who own solaras in ur town? Im just curious.. my friends always give me crap about how my car is a "Grandma Car"... but I think there just mad because my car is 10 times nicer than all of their cars.. ahah

Arif: the color of your solara, and with what all you've done to it...even I couldn't keep my eyes off your solara...

Here in houston, i see either older females driving em'.
At school we have 6-7 indians (me included) who have em and park in a row sometimes...so i guess its appealing to the young indian crowd! :drinking:

In Southern California, I see mainly males in their 20s with occassional "old" male and females. The older people are usually in convertables while the younger ones are in their SE, and SEv6, with a handful in SLEs

There aren't too many solaras around here. Occassionally I will see an older guy driving one, but I am the only younger guy with one here.

There are plenty here in So. Cal =x On my way to Chris' house the day of the L&L Meet, about 10 miles, I saw 4 other Silver 02-03 Solaras, a black 99-01, and a red conv. 99-01. I got a Solara to be different, but it didn't work =x

8) I'm 49, soon to be 50 (man that's scary, and it ought to scare the hell out of you teens cause you're gonna be here someday) I drive a red 99 V6 SE with blacked out grill, TRD intake and exhaust, 17" Moda R1's with Yokohoma Avid V4's 215 50 17, custom interior (Katzkin leather, , Initial K indiglow gauges with titanium color gauge bezel, 2000 Celica Shifter with shortened shaft, matching burl wood center dash with Titanium Shifter insert, JDM TRD three spoke steering wheel, Levoc pedals and hand made matching dead pedal, leather armrest and e-brake handle and boot, hand made titanium color Solara logo door sills and Panasonic,in trunk , six disc changer, all installed by me) Zendar racing antenna and of course, the obligatory TRD Sports soft oval emblems on the front quarter panels, with black pearl emblems to boot. So I guess I'm an old guy driving a Solara, but it's the only one like it between here and St. Louis. Maybe farther than that. I see a lot of women driving them down here in southern Illinois. Most modified cars are either local yokels in muscle cars or ricers in Civics & Eclipses.

Yeah its pretty bad in Omaha... Every once in a while I ride with my friends in their cars, and if a Solara comes up, they never let me miss it and say... "Hey, whos drivin that one Scott?? OHHH a grandma"
my car is the "Grandma Car"... but I have yet to see another Solara with anything done to it... so im the origional in Omaha... There was a pretty hot chick in a silver one... I wanted to turn around and follow her... I just lost motavation... since my g\f would freak out... its funny to hear that most places are pretty similar to Omaha, maybe not as extreme... I just think its funny... I have had girls drive by and scream that they love my car... one time a girl screamed her phone number out... its nice to have a car that not everyone has at my age.. that way I know im not in a cav. or some civic.. its great having a nice car... well enough from me
later

In NJ the solara is actually a pretty common car. I see a lot of 40-50 year old people driving them. They always turn and look. I've actually had a few solara owners (male in their 40s) talk to me about mods. The solara is a beautiful car for all age groups but I do see a lot of older women driving the car.
