so i fixed my y pipe. all i did was cut it with a saws all and show someone where to weld it. it costed me 10.38. 13$ for four FEL-PRO gaskets. i have gredy evo catback exhaust and the y pipe kinda makes it rumbley. it sound like its mixed with the sound of a WRX or srt4. i dont know if i like it.

FYI: i am running this pipe with no cat using the test pipe. i have driven it about 75 miles and no CEL yet.

I admit, I did not like the sound of mine at times, it screams when the exhaust note is bouncing off cars or through an underpass, try it out, it's fun.

I think the exhaust has something to do with it with the Trd the sound is sweeeeettttt ..hey

NRD are using the O2 simulator ???

not using o2 simulator. i figure if i get a cel, i will just get a high flow cat.

just finished installing Dats pipe. Gotta say, I'm very pleased thus far. the sound is great, reaction is smooth and my shifts into second especially are a lot smoother than they were before.

Got the test pipe on there now, no CEL ("fingers crossed")

it took a few days to get a cel but i got one. i tried clearing the code and it just came back the next day. i just boutht all the stuff for a cat to relpace the test pipe.

sound clip added. A little short, but you get the idea. With the quietest cat-back for the solara, it gives a nice little rumble.
