Bad comments about those tires:

These RFTs are terrible. I would not accept the ride/safety trade off. The impact harshness is so severe even over small bumps and potholes that you would think the car does not have a suspension system. If you live in the Northeast or anywhere with potholes, you will regret using this tire. I am trying to figure out how to replace these RFTs with regular tires and use a tire sealant/air compressor as a spare. The ride harshness has actually caused the dashboard to rattle and this brand new car has less than 4,000 miles. Disappointing to say the least.

I concur that these tires are noisy. They also tend to follow irregularities in the road (I drive on Long Island). Performance is decent given that these are RFTs. I will have to replace these tires at 30,000 (about the same treadwear I had on my MB ML320). Going to the dealer to replace them is an expensive option (quoted $450/tire). I will have to look for a more economically viable option.

Avoid these Bridgestone runflat tires. These tires are very noisy and poor in tread wear. BMW started using Continental ContiProContact SSR runflats on their 2007 328i. I just replaced my 2006 325i with the Continental runflats. They are cheaper and better quality. Certainly they are very quiet. I see a lot of 2006 BMW 3 series owners changing their tires to the Continental runflats. No wonder they are on back order. However, it is definitely worth waiting for.

BMW owners are generally picky, if you spend upwards of 40k on a car you expect only the best - of course they are gonna complain about every little thing. You always have to keep in mind WHO the reviewer is. Just as a raving review from an apathic 16 year old high school kid (no offense to the younger SGs) who holds little or no bearing. They are prob not the best value tires at retail, but for more than 75% off, you cant complain.

Bump for an honest seller and a great price. Don't know why another SG would try to rain on someone else's deal though
