*EDIT: B and C have both been solved. The previous owner had both disconnected. They probably swapped out the rear w/s and didn't plug it back up. Just looking for the manual now*

A) Does anyone have an electronic copy of the owner's manual. I don't think it's worth it to purchase one from the dealer.

B) Does the 2000 have an integrated rear windsheild antenna?

C) How does one check the electrical connections to the rear windshield? I get horrible radio reception (only 4 clear stations) and my rear defrost doesn't work.

I have LIMITED expierence with vehicles, however electronics don't scare me at all.

Thanks for the help,
Tony

B- yeah

C- you might want to pull your radio out to see if the antenna is connected.

I didn't want to pull the radio out just yet b/c of the defrost problem. That puts 2 things on/in the rear windshield having probs. This is a used car, so there is a chance that rear window was replaced.

A - I don't think an electronic version was ever available. You might want to re-phrase that question to see if someone has a big green book (aka Toyota Dealership Manual) in a CD format (I have that for my camry).
B - Yes (like everyone already stated)
C - (on my celica, when the rear defrost didn't work - it was a replacement of a fuse). Hence check your fuses. Then check the connections behind the buttons.

Thanks for all the replies. It was the connections at the rear windshield. I have a 2 month 2K miles warranty since it was used but from a dealer. 2 second fix, and now if anyone needs to know, both the antenna and integrated antenna connections are located by the rear windshield underneath the plastic trim on the passanger side.

A... i dunno

B... check the back window and see if anything is unpluged should be a spade terminals....

C... if your rear defroster dosnt work... could be FUSE? OR if they had tint on there and DID NOT remove it properly then that could make it not work.
