lol This seems to be sensitive subject on here :roll: , simmer down kids. It's his car or friends ...or a rental, let him have fun with it. We all have different driving characteristics. Some of you punch it at the green light, others take hard turns, most of you drive under the speed limit and blast the Fast and Furious Soundtrack.......whatever floats your 'Lara.

I don't think doing it once in a parking lot is going to destroy his Solara. If he did it everyday......of course. Some of you act like RWD vehicles don't wear their tires or put their vehicles through the same stresses.

And that's not "drifting" its called A\SS Dragging if its a FWD. Enjoy your ride, however you want. Cheers.

Example of FWD drifting http://youtube.com/watch?v=Sedrzz-GGrQ :lol:

Haha, whatever guys say what you want but all I'm doing is messing around and having a little fun. Doesn't really matter just thought I'd show you guys a video for the few of you who seem to be thinking it's just entertaining and not ranting me for it. My car, my decision is what it comes down to. So rant if you must but it isn't going to do anything. Otherwise, Enjoy! :D

well, I have to admit, I did pull the e-brake every now and then on my old car when I first got my license.

....So.... is it my turn yet? lol :drinking:

Drifting != Powersliding.
Calm down mofos he's just screwing around in an empty lot with some smooth wet blacktop. Hey guy, you should try doing the reverse 180. I did it a couple of times in a friend's b16 hatch. Good times.

I'm more interested in a "MILT-style" BURNOUT... smoke BILLOWING into the cabin, and ROLLING off the tires as they grab hold and drag yer car down the road... :o

Dry pavement... Daytime. THAT, would be COOL! 8)

(right guys?)

umm...yea I haven't gotten a chance to watch the video yet seeing as how I'm at worrk right now. But it will mess the car up. I did that a lot in my 2000 Camry and thank goodness that car runs beautifully (not counting all the alignment I needed done). But my friend tried doing the same thing a few times in his 04 Mazda 6 and he's had to get his ball joints replaced quite a few times. And that's not really a cheap item to replace. So...STOP!
