McGard tuner wheel locks

CosmicGrooves wrote:I purchased the lugs at Discount Tire. I don't know what kind they are. I don't think they're anything too fancy, but they're chrome and they work and they were fairly cheap. $30 for a set of 20 lugs. They reqire a special tool to remove them, but I'm going to look into finding a set of 4 lugs with a different lock for increased security.

Oh, I also had Discount Tire throw in the chrome valve stems. :)

For added security, I installed these McGard CHROME Tuner Wheel Locks 12x1.50 on the TRD 18x8 wheels that I bought from Eddie.

Those lugs look similar to the ones I got. I don't have one like your bottom lug, though... the locking lug. I'd like to get four of them, one for each wheel. The locking lug that came on my stock wheels doesn't fit... at least, that's what the tire people told me.

I originally tried getting these wheels from Eddie... but he didn't have this style.

I don't actually know the part number but i'm sure they'd look nice on the Gen1 too.

thanks for the comments! the best camera I have is the pocket pc I am using to post this message. as soon as I can borrow a friends camera, i'll post high rez pics. hopefully sometime this week.

I,ll also post pics of the tires. goodyear eagle rsa 235/45/18. the tread pic on tirerack is wrong. these look much more aggressive than tirerack made me think.
