My oil light came on today, I checked my oil level and it fine so I dont know what could be. :cry:

Shi*t, that light means your oil pressure is low and possibly something else. Crap you might be sludged. :x

could be just something wrong with your oil sender unit as well....could be a bunch of things. get it checked out soon though.

^^ ok im going in for a oil change today I look into it. but for now the light is off and has been off for about a week now.

If you're lucky, it was just a clog in your filter. You might want to take a chance and run some motor flush through there though, and add Lucas additive to your next oil fill.

from my celica-forum days, sometimes you only have minutes after the light comes on till your engine could be out of oil (leak, oil pressure, cloged filter, sludge or something beyond and/or combo of some of them). Best bet is to pull to the side of the road and stop the car. You'll do more damage if you continue using it.

Are you aware of the oil sludge law suit settlement with Toyota. Check the web site oilgelsettlement.com for details. Oil light on could be a sludge problem
