CM its a common problem in our solaras. You are going to have to put it in different positions and you will finally get it to minimize. Usually it rattles a lot if the seat is all the way back. Good luck.

That was one of my problems in my 100K mile update. What has worked for me (i don't know it may be different for your car??) is this:
1. Get on your knees and tighten all the bolts and screws and ensure the track is tight too.
2. use some lubrication in the track as well.
3. just don't place your seat in the fartest front or back settings...this seems to help me out the most.

I think I have to live with it until the spring. Then I will take the seat out and sort things out.

i had that rattling a while back, i dont get it any more...., i was gonna try to fix it but it just went away...and yes it came from the seat cause i would put my hand firmly on the seat and the rattling would stop, as soon as i lifted my hand it would start up.
