UNDERDASH/ILLUMINATED ENTRY LIGHTS PROBLEM

I just finished installing my illuminated entry lights and they look sweet..... however..... whenever i close my door and the lights dimms off..... i hear this buzzing sound from the rear speakers.... like radiation sounds or sth ......
how can i fix that ????

I'm no electrical expert by any means, but check where you placed your grounds. Possibility pros??

which ground ?? i used the varible ground from the door sensor...... and tthe constant ground is just ..... raw metal !!! ......... where is the problem ???

what's the specs on these "illuminated entry lights" that you have? what did you use to check for the door wire? multi-meter?

crap i threw the boxes away already... but i used the red/silver wire from the tab that controls the door sensors (under the steering wheel).... that is my variable ground b/c wen my doors open... that wire becomes negative......
sigh..... god help me!! lol

red/silver???

as far as i know there IS NO red/silver stripe wire in a Toyota. do you mean SOLID RED wire with silver dots?

the proper door negative input wire (which catches both doors) is red/white stripe. and it's around the kick panel area. are you using a multimeter?
