if you unplug that gray plug can you reconnect it after if you want??

(sounds like a stupid question :lol: but is that permanent?)

yep, just plugs right back in. a good advantage IMO to save bulb life on the car. the easiest "mod" ever! :D

my buddy w/ the tacoma cant reconnect. if he unplugs it, its permanent. i wonder why that is

Just disconnect the daylight sensor... that disables everything.

That's weird I have a buddy who has a tacoma also, and his didn't even come with day time running lights in the first place.
