Well I searched high and low for a custom grille for my 99' SLE and had no luck. I read some past forums that talked about using grille guard which I tried but just wasn't my flavor. So I got the idea to mask off the chrome and paint the black plastic a real shinny silver like chrome. It came out surpisingly nice and looks pretty sick if I do say so myself. Also maybe painting the black plastic the same color as the car would look good as well. Just thought I would share my idea, will have pics soon.

mine stays forever. since i striped off all the chrome paint, primer then repaint gloss black, never came off since.

i plan to do it again soon, since my first time was a shissce job
