CEL going Bonkers

CEL going Bonkers

Here's my problem - car has been well serviced. As far maint goes - nothing has been spared. Everytime I go to this office-ramp - going downhill in the parking garage...my CEL comes on??

If I park the car and shut down and restart..its gone. This is the third time its done that...CEL comes on when going down hill...I'm currently on stock air-box (injen is off the car - checked the hoses/connections, all ok). Checked the vacumm lines, they seem to be 'fit/secured' well. Right now the CEL is on, but when i re-start the car...its gone...(its not like its on daily...its happens whenever I go to this one very steep office building parking ramp??). This thing has got me going ???
What else should i check..besides the already mentioned?

I think you have an intermittent short somewhere. the CEL shouldn't turn off untill 3? drive cycles without a problem.

pull the code after going downhill (does it happen if you slam on the brakes from a high speed all the way to stop?) And then you will have a starting point.

well first time - i removed the negative and waited it out. and then drove off - didn't come back for sometime and i was like...its prob nothing....

Second time - it came last to last friday...drove with back home 'ON' - the next day, it wasn't there.

Today - while I came back from lunch - it came back on. hence i posted this thread...

Yeah, i can always make a trip to autozone and pull the codes and then assume from there, but usuallly by the time i stop and restart the car, the code is gone (i'm presuming since the cel is off). At first i assumed this was a CEL issue, but the fact that it comes on at the same incline makes me want to think something is loose...What gives?
