So I wanted a brighter gauges so i put in leds wow great they are working great till some burned out. Then i decied to shave the tops off the leds to make the light wider so i can reduce dim spots on my gauge face. OK every thing went well tested it made sure my wires were right then I put the cluster back into my car and they light up Im like great they work waite a min I did not turn them on nor was the switch left on. NO they just stay lit hmmmmmmm why is that I turn the switch no responce sooo now to turn off my cluster I need to turn down the lights till they are off Hope that does not kill my bat b/c its cold and there is a snow storm.

LMFAO!

Sounds like you could have wired them to a positive wire that remains "hot" all the time.

Only thing i did different was that I put 3 leds per circut insted of 4 to fill the 12 v oh I took it apart and the lead from the harness to the first bulb seem a little burned think I could have burned out a realy or a part on the cluster. To add i messed with it some more I disconnected the leds and ran stock bulbs and nothing works the lights just wont turn on the cluster. It just does not Light, it sucks at night. I checked the Fuse and its still good.
