Dang - I'd consider one in a heartbeat if I had $$ and room for one to park in my garage along with our other two cars. Maybe if I end up keep ing my Solara once we get another place to live, I would consider getting one for a daily driver/weekend warrior. Good choice I'd say! :D

What's strange is that unlike the Solara (i.e. throttle lag and rough shift at low rpm), I have to be careful with the RAV. Pedal is sensitive, so I have to adjust to new feel...definately no lag in throttle response...maybe a little too responsive. Shifting is smoother, too, but I liked the dual gate shifter layout of the Solara better. On top of all that, no MPG computer, no dimming mirror, no homelink, no auto headlights on...no factory installed alarm...but it does have DRL. All that and it's a $31k MSRP RAV Ltd.

Wow, $31K and it didn't come with any of that? Seems lacking. What else did it come with?

^^ I know! You'd think they'd AT LEAST give you the same sloppy-shifting and throttle lag you're so accustomed to in the Solara! :o

:drinking:

BTW - I PM'd you Joe - did you get it yet?

Well, LTD loaded (except for what I mentioned), has Blizzard White Pearl paint (same as my Solara had i.e. Artic Frost) moon roof, tow prep, leather heated, 6-disc JBL, 9 speaker w/sub and bluetooth. Gotta love the blue tooth...has voice commands, phone book, number dialing...you name it. Incoming caller id shows on radio display. Control is on steering wheel to make calls. Mic is in overhead console and speaker top left driver's door is phone ear piece. 260HP V6 that romps. AWD with low speed 4-wheel lock....reclining rear seats, on, and on, and on. Still not a Solara, but I had to do what i had to do.
