^^Its only $700! Just get a credit card and pay it off over 2 months, surely you can come up with $350 a month. Or, you can get one of those 0% APR promo cards that are always floating around...bottom line is you can get the money one way or the other so don't miss out on this deal!

He's awfully young to be able to get a 0% credit card. Those are usually reserved for people with a proven credit record.

In any case, I would not recommend getting in the habit of charging things you want but don't actually have the money for. Not a god habit to get into.

^^this is a very limited opportunity, thats why I recommended using credit to buy the kit...I've had a credit card that is always paid off every month, since I graduated high school...and I got 8.99% back then, so I know there are low rates out there for newbies.

He says he has a job, surely he can save $350 over a month.

I was assuming he would have the money over 2 months, but just not initially.

Another note, using a credit card responsibly is one of the easiest ways to build a credit history and your credit score. As long as you can control your spending, there is nothing wrong with it. You just have to know your limits.

It just gets real old when these awesome opportunities come up and everyone says...sorry I have no money, especially when it is the same people every time...If you really want the goods, you can find money, bust your ass, and pay it off.
