I want to change my transmission fluid and I dont know which fluid to use, I know it has to be dexron III but does it matter if its Synthetic or regular, and can I mix them ?

It's never a good idea to mix fluid type. I suggest if you want to go Synthetic you have your transmission flushed and get the filter changed then service with the new Syn fluid.

You can also use anything rated higher than Dextron III, such as Dex IV, V, or VI. Each new Dextron is an upgraded (and more expensive synthetic) formula, but guaranteed to work in place of the older versions as well.
