hey, please let me know how the brake lines fit on our car..
when i took it to the installer, they told me the thread pitch does not match.
i have sent back the brake line to the stoptech, and waiting for them to give me an update.

>Sebas007
is that a new items on their site?
when i order mine, the only rotors they had (I talked with rep on the phone as well) was the one i got.
damn... the one you are getting looks nice!

Tact

It's probably new stuff...I'm not sure at 100%
But yeah they look really nice...I'll wait to see the final result.

KVR ones looks like the rotors they put in the big brakes kits but in a OEM size...it's a really nice option too !!

I'm also curious about Stoptech SS lines...I know Tact that you had some fitting issue (pitch)

Solara08861.
You had a Sebring? Were you ever on 2gss or Stratusphere?

Anyway, I had a set of R1 Concepts discs on my Stratus with no complaints. Seemed to work really well.

Hm... I have a feeling this thread is going more and more towards the R1 and Stoptech... to add fuel to the fire :)

Sebas, were you going to install the rotors yourself?

Solara08861, ASOG was a little before me, I think. I was "seminole" on 2gss and Stratusphere.

Anyway, rotors aren't that terribly hard to do yourself - just takes time.

HAHa I knew that it will go this way...I don't know what to do in a situation like this...talk of something not directly related to the thread subject...or not. ;)

I will try to do it myself with the help of Tacti DIY tutorial on his website. But before I've to know if yes or no, JIC magic VIP product could fit and work nicely on my ride. Big $$$ but would be very useful and nice for me in my winter/summer setup. If so...I'll make install my JIC Magic C/O + brakes + wheels at the same time

R1 Concepts makes the parts to order - they do not have them in stock I found out. Takes about a week to get them - even in will-call. Yet another thing I won't be doing this weekend.

Doesn't the black plating/anodizing wear off in like a day though?
